Wow, it’s been a long time

Yeah it’s been ages since I’ve been on this blog. I’ve just been so busy with the house, crochetting, writing, and well life.

But I just had to spare some time to help support a few friends who just published a book on the amazon kindle.  What the Fantasy

It’s a pretty funny parody comic. Anyway, they put a lot of work into it and it’s great. I’m proud of them and just wanted to brag.

Wow a New Post!

Anyone else bored with FaceBook?

I really don’t have much to write about.  I have been busy with work.  Hubby bought me a Kindle as an early birthday present to me, so I have been reading like crazy.   I have also been writing a novel, and I just recently started to work on children’s book.  We’ll see what happens there.

All of our shows are now back on TV, so we have been busy watching How I Met Your Mother, The Office, and the best show ever, Parks and Recreation.  We are also watching American Horror Story, which is pretty interesting, except I hate the dad!  And when we don’t have any of those to watch we have been watching some Smosh Videos at http://www.smosh.com.  They are stupidly funny.

Halloween came and went….

My Baby Kodi as Gizmo!  hahahaha.  Before everyone freaks out and thinks I am an animal abuser who would dye my puppies hair, do not fret it is only Photoshop.  LOL

 

That sums up Halloween.

 

Now we are into November… way into November.  This week is Thanksgiving -of course- and because I am in Korea I can’t really celebrate it here.  Don’t even know if I can find a turkey.  But maybe hubby and I will buy a rotisserie chicken and I’ll make some mashed potatoes or something.  Bah!  I want to be in America eating all the yummy foods my family cooks.

Saturday is my birthday.  YEAH!  I am going to be the big 2?  nope not gonna tell.  Hubby and I are going to Outback Steakhouse.  Going to get myself a big chicken tender salad.  Oh yah.

This post stinks, I know.

I made French toast the other day.  I added too much vanilla extract and not enough cinnamon.  It was so yummy, but so sweet I felt like my teeth were going to jump right of my mouth.  They tingled for like 30 minutes.  Whoopsie.  If I didn’t have cavities before, I have them now.  Oh but it was so worth it.

On Saturday I started to work on my hubby’s Christmas presents.  I really can’t buy him anything because every time we use the credit card he is sent a notification on his cell phone.  We are also attached at the hip so I cannot go shopping without him.  Also since my Korean is terrible I cannot shop online without his help, so if I were to buy his presents he wouldn’t have any surprises.  That is why I am just going to knit and crochet him some gifts.  Since Saturday I have managed to make him six presents and I am half way done with the seventh.

1st present: A scarf (he knows about this ><)

2nd present: A touch phone crochet cozy

3rd present: A magnifying glass pouch

4th present:  A zombie coffee cup cozy (he knows about this cause I got too excited and gave it to him early)

5th present:  A Mario coffee cup cozy (this one he also knows about because I thought it looked bad and wanted some advice) Wow!  I am not good at keeping surprises.  ><

6th present:  I finished it at 1am last night.  It is a pencil cozy.  It is a monster, the pencils go in the mouth and I stitched on it “I eet jer penz” (I love the stitching)

7th present:  I am crocheting him some fingerless gloves so he can keep his hands warm while he paints.

Future projects

8th present:  I am thinking about making him a Luigi coffee cup cozy.

9th present:  A coin purse.  He has so much change that he keeps dropping into his wallet and every time he opens the darn thing, it starts raining money.

10th present:  A hard drive cozy

11th: maybe some booties

12: A crochet fedora, so he will look like Johnny Depp.  mwahahahaha

13-?:  Still thinking

I wanted to make him a sweater, but it just takes too long.  I wonder if I can get all this done by Christmas?  We’ll see.

I can’t wait to show all you his gifts, but like him, you’ll just have to wait until Christmas.  ^^

I promise to post something a little more entertaining next time.  I’m just too busy to bring on the funny.  LOL
